Jess first saw Chris in 2018 when he was DJing Emo Night at Caledonia Lounge in Athens. Afterwards, she asked her friends to introduce her to the cute DJ & finally met him at this show on the rooftop of the Georgia Theater (peep Chris in the background of this photo). They would continue to hang out but remain "Just Friends" for the next few years.

Chris & Jess both moved out of Athens at the end of July 2020: Chris to Atlanta & Jess to Savannah. However, living 4 hours apart couldn't keep them from hanging out. For the next few months, they'd make time to drive up to Atlanta or down to Savannah to see each other every few weeks.
